We’re looking for a UNIX Systems Admin to join the team. Does this sound like a good role for you?

In this role you will assist the local Team located in Maia, Portugal. The local support will embrace help on user end support to the local team as well as extended support for other IT teams. In addition to local end user support there will be the focus on remote Datacenter and engineering support. This contains Windows and Linux infrastructure as well as grid farms to ensure the success of our customers. Development skills on different technologies and languages such ad Java, JavaScript, PHP are valued.

The majority of our mixed environment is based on Linux machines.

Key Qualifications

• Basic network knowledge
• Programming skills in Shell scripting, Perl, Python, Java, JavaScript
• Skills in services like Apache, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, LDAP
• Virtualization (VMware, XEN, KVM, oVirt, Docker)
• Network based storage (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI)

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, SuSE and Debian/Ubuntu)
• Experience in Windows OS (Server/Workstation)
• Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook…)
• Good English skills (writing and verbal)
