O que procura nos candidatos

The Payments Officer is a key contributor to the payment operations team. The role entails to assist with the processing of all operational payments and related activities.

 

Reporting to our Payment Operations manager, the candidate will have the opportunity to evolve in a dynamic environment, taking initiative on day-to-day operations and support our client’s very ambitious growth objectives.

 

Responsibilities

Processing and monitoring operational payments

Reviewing settlement and authorization exceptions across all banking and issuer partners

Daily and efficient monitoring and processing of ticket systems and ticket queries

Cards and funding accounts investigations and assisting in chargeback processing and disputes                                                            

Daily monitoring and preparing weekly aged creditors in relation to the credit working capital facilities

Monthly liaison with Line manager to keep him/her appraised of status/progress/issues, etc

Assist FinOps with any queries relating to adjustments on client accounts

Assist Payment Operations manager in dispute logging and processing

 

Requirements                                                                                                                                                 

In possession of a Finance related qualification

Previous experience in a similar role within finance and payments

Additional experience in fraud or chargebacks is considered an asset

Conversant with a strong interest in both IT and Finance

Previous experience with databases and SQL is an asset

Results orientated, proactive and can-do attitude

Good stakeholder management experience

Strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative and attention to detail

The ability to represent the company and the brand excellently

Problem solver and experience working with cross functional teams across multiple time zones
