Pastry Chef previous experience of at least 3 to 5 years
Experienced in managing teams and pastry operational
Preferential experience in high end hospitality
organizations/concepts with exposure to new trends and top of mind
Mandatory fluent in both Portuguese and English.
Proactive, enthusiastic, approachable with effective communication
Ability to develop strong rapport with team, managers
and if needed guests.
Leadership skills, ability to motivate and train the
team under pressure conditions.
Good analytical, organizational and pastry operational
Flexibility to work different schedules and shifts
linked to the business needs.
Que funções irão desempenhar
Manage, train, coach and support end-to-end the pastry
executives in accordance with Vila Vita standards.
- Ensure correct and effective production service
to all Outlets within the intensive recurrent production requests as well
ad hoc tailor-made special events.
Support the Head Pastry Chef in controlling all
operational aspects of the Pastry Department.
Participate and introduce new trends and ideas to
enhance the Vila Vita portfolio within the Pastry universe.
Take action and work together with all the
Gastronomical Vila Vita projects to ensure effectiveness in the unique
Supports customer loyalty and property´s brand standards
by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

Outros aspectos a referir
The role is based at VILA VITA Parc in Algarve,
Portugal and will report to the Head Pastry Chef of Vila Vita Portugal Pastry
Operations. The Team Member will oversee
a team of Pastry Executives for all Gastronomic Outlets (+30) bespoke and
intensive production requests. The continuous improvement mind-set, the
optimization of best practices and introduction of new pastry concepts will be
key to ensure customer loyalty by delivering a service of excellence throughout
each customer experience.
