Team Vision

Convert existing and future projects to fully cloud native solutions based on containers, Kubernetes orchestration and serverless applications. Automate all remaining manual procedures.

What we are looking for:

In depth knowledge of Linux with a focus on RedHat/CentOS, including system design, configuration, maintenance, upgrade and administration

At least 3 years of experience working with VMware environments

Administration of Linux based web services

Proven experience with CI/CD tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI or similar)

Experience with containerization (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)

Tolerance to high workloads and multiple changing priorities

Ability to solve problems and issues at all levels

Documentation skills

Interest and awareness of current IT technology and business applications

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with cloud services

Computer Science/IT related university degree or equivalent experience

Desirable:

Scripting with Bash, Perl, PHP, Python, Go or JavaScript

Exposure to Agile/DevOps methodologies

Administration & understanding of relational databases

Configuration and administration of monitoring tools

Usage & administration of version control systems

Key Responsibilities:

As a part of the strong information security culture, all employees are required to adhere to Information Security policies, practices and procedures.

Maintain production IT systems

Provide production support out of hours on-demand

Advise and assist in availability and performance monitoring or tuning of IT systems

Design, implement, enforce and review backup policies

Provide IT technical expertise to application developers & business support teams

Ensuring compliance with IT infrastructure best practice guidelines when applicable

Responsible for producing and maintaining technical documentation to facilitate consistency and quality of system installation, configuration and management

Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure to support the operational environment and business direction
