The Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and financial reporting requirements. This role will focus on compiling reports as requested by various regulators and local authorities, while assisting in VAT and tax calculations. The role also encompasses standard monthly reporting, trial balance management, ad hoc reports for management and project management of the audit processes.
Requirements:
Accounting qualification (Master in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent)
Proficient in use of MS Office
Experience working on MS Navision would be preferable
Knowledge of IFRS
Accounting reporting experience
Excellent English communication skills and teamwork
Have proven ability to meet deadlines within a global organisation
Experience in iGaming is considered an asset
Ability to adapts to a multicultural environment
Ability to take full ownership of responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Liaising with compliance department in respect of requests for financial data
Coordinating and compiling reports and submissions for regulated markets and all gaming authorities
Coordinating and compiling reports as required by local authorities
Assisting and reviewing VAT submissions on a quarterly basis, while understanding the various VAT implications and treatment of transactions within the gaming industry
Reviewing gaming tax calculations for all regions, submission of calculations and following through to completion before deadline
Assisting with statutory and legislative functions, including meeting all deadlines
Coordination of all information for board reports and management accounts
Generating financial reporting and reviewing financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness
Review monthly taxation accrual for entities across the Group
Prepare final tax calculations for review by the Finance manager
Assisting in finalization of audit files and managing the Group and local audit processes to ensure timely submission of files, while coordinating audit queries received
Managing the quarterly internal audit files, while ensuring all reports are up-to-date
Assisting with internal audits
Effectively feeds information to required members of the team to ensure all important updates are shared appropriately
Ensuring consistent application of accounting policies across responsible entities and compliance to IFRS
Building and maintaining strong working relationship across the business and stakeholders
Attending key meetings
Performing reconciliation activities
Other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
