FINANCE MANAGER

 Requirements:

Fluent in English, fluent in Maltese is a plus

Fully Qualified Accountant

At least 2 years of accountancy experience and/or in a similar role

Previous Leadership experience

Possess strong report writing skills and have an eye for detail

Possess excellent communication skills

Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and respect to fellow employees and clients alike

Have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team.

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our growing talented team to assist our Financial Department. This role provides the selected candidate with the opportunity to grow with and develop a compliance and risk framework under the guidance of senior management.  A methodological approach to work and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges are essential ingredients to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the firm’s finance team (four members)

Responsible for the financial operations of the firm (payments, invoicing, debt collection, reconciliations)

Preparation of timely monthly / quarterly management accounts, financial statements and cash flow

Manage the preparation of the firm’s budgets

Responsible for the firm’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems

Responsible for financial processes and regularly recommending improvements

Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulatory requirements
