About The Role: Our infrastructure is based on AWS and Openstack/Rancher across sites located in Ireland, Gibraltar, Malta and Canada. This infrastructure is constantly growing and requires 24/7 operation. Reporting directly into our Technical Director, you will join our DevOps team and take responsibility for all the teams operations management activity. You will ensure that our platforms, incidents responses, technological projects and processes are carried out in a timely and reliable way. The DevOps lead will be a key member of the critical technical operations team. Key Responsibilities: Managing DevOps team and suppliers Creating reports and ensure that documentation and projects are kept up to date Ensure that the platform is in good health Hands-on fixing of important issues Responsible for triaging and addressing live issues Due diligence as far as analysis and design of any projects undertaken Leads the implementation and support of technological solutions Ensures staff follow processes and proposes process improvements where necessary Additional responsibilities: Automate application build and deployment pipelines via Bamboo. Automate, scale, and patch our AWS cloud infrastructure deployments Support troubleshooting incidents as they arise and participate in post-mortems Support and troubleshoot issues with Kubernetes clusters Communicate with engineers, developers and product owners. Design, implement and document the infrastructure required to support clients and active development projects. Creating run-books Technical Knowledge: Atlassian software (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo) Knowledge of AWS, Rancher, Openstack, Docker, Kubernetes Logstash PostgreSQL administration knowledge is a plus but not required
