More than 25 different nationalities add diversity and enrich an organization dedicated to satisfied customers and high performance. Employees act as brand representatives ensuring that customers receive personal assistance in their own language at a consistently high level. Our Customer Service departments answer customer enquiries and complaints, while the Service24h department organizes roadside assistance for customers. Services related to customer mobility are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center is located in Maastricht, the Netherlands. We are also known as the Compass Deliver Center (CDC). The CDC is growing from the local IT Provider for the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center (CAC) to the Global Service Provider for the core CRM application of Daimler.

Currently we are in the middle of the worldwide rollout to 54 countries and we have still 24 countries to go. Do you want to be a part of our international team and help us to setup and operate the global Platform with Data Centers in EMEA and NAFTA?

“We are looking for you as our new Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence Admin to help us make this transition a reality”.

Job Requirements:

Within our Data warehouse and Business Intelligence department you will be a part of an international team with people from the Netherlands, Belgium and UK all working from Maastricht. In cooperation with this team you will share the responsibility for our Cognos and Data loading platform. Together you will face challenges such as:

  • Operating our platform in EMEA and NAFTA with the focus on our new NAFTA environment;
  • Supporting our Cognos users and Data loading around the globe (> 750 users);
  • Providing project support such as user creations, hyper care and country roll-outs; 
  • You will setup our support knowledge base together with the team,
  • Upgrade to Cognos Analytics.

Profile Must have’s:

  • Technical: 
    • Experience with relational & dimensional databases (Oracle); 
    • Experience with ETL tools; 
    • Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with IT Service operations (ITIL or similar) including setup of support documentation; 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • You need to be:
    • Customer oriented; 
    • Team player;
    • Willing to travel occasional
    • Stress resilient. 

Profile Nice to have’s

  • Experience with the Cognos toolset:
    • Data Manager;
    • Framework Manager,
    • Cognos Administration.
