Responsibilities:
 

  • As a key member of the company, collaborate in the development and implementation of strategic business plans and budgets and contribute in setting best operational practice at a global level
  • Manage and develop a team of 3 Heads of Operations in 3 key offices in Europe and a total team of approximately 3,800 staff
  • Support and challenge the Operations Management team in establishing and fine-tuning success metrics and key performance indicators for their respective operations in order to improve profitability
  • Ensure continuous and overall cost efficiency and quality in operations
  • Source, establish and implement new business operations in new markets around the world
  • Provide clear and accountable operational objectives, development plans, improvements and status reports to executives, internal stakeholders and business partners on a global level
  • Drive participation in relevant business and market events
  • Manage relationships / agreements with key partners and vendors
  • Support in recruiting new key members of the teams

 
Requirements:
 

  • Demonstrated operational excellence in managing existing operations within high growth, high pressure transactional environments
  • Strategic, operational planning and hands-on execution experience, preferably in large 500+ people corporations
  • Experience in both designing and implementing operations from scratch
  • Several years of management experience and managing team of managers
  • Strong in business and financial principles and cost efficiency / pressure / awareness analysis and execution
  • Experience of motivating and developing young, 24/7/365 operations teams in different geographical locations
  • Recruiting and training in high volumes
  • Diverse cultural experience - would have worked in different countries or in multinational corporations
  • Prepared and willing to undertake extensive travel, 120+ days / year
  • University degree, preferably with an Engineering and / or Business degree
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, other languages ​​are considered an asset
